Laurel is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and is highly versed in ophthalmology with 16 years of experience in Optometry, General Ophthalmology, Medical Retina, and Uveitis.
She began working immediately out of high school as a receptionist and would often help out with taking diagnostic imaging for the doctor.
She enjoyed learning about the various conditions of the eyes and decided to develop more skills as an ophthalmic technician and would go on and become proficient in any area of ophthalmic assisting that she could including, earning her Ophthalmic Assistant certification, Phlebotomy Certification, and IV Therapy Certification.
She continues to learn and develop her skills while working with Dr. A’sha Brown as the Practice Manager and technician at Infinity Retina.
